5.1 General preventive action
Warning
Unintended movements of the connected actuators and
uncontrollable movements of loose tubing can cause injury
to persons and/or damage to property.
Before carrying out installation and maintenance work,
switch off the following:
· compressed air supply
· operating and load voltage supplies.
Note
Handle all modules and components of the MPA−S valve
terminal with great care. Note especially the following
when mounting components:
· Screws must be fitted exactly (otherwise threads will be
damaged).
· Screws must be only screwed in by hand. Screws must
be fitted so that the self−cutting threads can be used.
· The specified torques must be observed.
· Fittings must be mounted free of offset and mechanical
tension.
· Check the seals for damage (IP65).
· The contact surfaces must be dry and clean
(sealingeffect, avoid leakage and contact errors).
