Caution
With non self−locking drives the relationshsip of the axis
position to the axis zero point is in some cases not maintai
ned. The axis can then be positioned relatively and abso
lutely when the device is switched on again, although the
system is no longer referenced.
· Carry out reference travel every time the device is
switched on.
· With non self−locking drives select the optional setting
...Do not save position" (see appendix B.1.4, Object
60FBh/20h). You can then be sure that when the device
is switched on, only relative positioning is possible until
reference travel is carried out.

Note that the tolerance for the supply voltage must be
observed. The tolerance must also be observed directly
at the operating voltage connection of the MTR−DCI
(seechapter 3.2).

· Make sure that the axis is within the permitted position
ing range when it is switched on. Instructions on this can
be found in chapter 1.1.2.
· When the power supply is switched off, wait for approx.
5 seconds before switching the device on again.
