3.3.5 SIM
Background
The module can be connected to the network only after the SIM card is inserted. The module
supports 1.8 V and 3 V SIM cards.
Schematic Diagram Design
There are the following scenarios:
⚫ SIM card slot with detection signal: supports detection of SIM card insertion and removal,
including normally opened card slot and normally closed card slot. It is used together with
the hot plug function. The (U)SIM card with hot plug detection function is recommended.
⚫ SIM card slot without detection signal: does not support detection of SIM card insertion and
removal.
