CAUTION
The sense of smell is not present during sleep. The
Multisensor Plus then takes over early warning in
case of re (smoke smell).
In the event of a re, smoke, heat, and/or carbon monoxide
must be able to reach the Multisensor Plus unobstructed.
The installation of the detectors has been carried out by trai-
ned professionals.
Therefore, the detectors must not be installed at locations
other than those specied! Fans or ventilation systems must
not be operated in the immediate vicinity of the smoke de-
tector, as air movement can interfere with the penetration of
smoke into the smoke detector.
Devices with the kitchen stove symbol cannot detect
smoke and are therefore exclusively suitable for use in
the kitchen (Item No.: 580250).
Ì The battery is permanently installed in the device and
is not replaceable. It is designed for a service life of 10
years from the date of activation. The device features
battery monitoring and can signal the end of the battery
life cycle as a fault. Techem ensures proper disposal.
Ì The Multisensor Plus must not be opened, submerged in
water (risk of short circuit), destroyed, or disposed of in
household waste. Tampering with the device can lead to
malfunction.
Ì The Multisensor Plus may not be suitable for alerting
individuals with limited perception. In this case, contact
your landlord or property management.
Ì The use of the Multisensor Plus is not a substitute for
proper electrical installation, use, and maintenance of
fuel-powered devices and heating systems, including
appropriate ventilation and exhaust systems and chim-
ney sweeping.
