Thank you for your purchase. Our aim is the complete satisfaction of our customers
by oering cutting-edge products for the prevention and therapy of the
respiratory tract. Visit the website www.aem.it
Read these instructions carefully before using the
nasal douche in order to use it correctly. In addition, we advise you to keep this manual with
care should you need it for further consultation. Rhino Clear Sprint is a medical device for home
use.
What is it?
Rhino Clear Sprint is a nasal douche specically designed to irrigate and treat adult and child nasal
cavities, either with saline solution or with medicated solutions for aerosol use. The nasal douche is
portable and does not need to be plugged in to be used. Its use must be prescribed by a Doctor who has
assessed the patient’s general conditions.
How does it work?
Rhino Clear Sprint is intended for the washing of nasal cavities, collecting the outowing solution in
a special retrieval chamber present in the nasal douche. It can be used with saline solutions, (isotonic,
hypertonic and thermal waters) aerosol medicines, as prescribed by a doctor. The ergonomic compressor
body of the douche makes a comfortable handle provided with a button which can easily activate
nebulisation and it is also provided with an aspiration valve which allows air to enter and decreases noise.
The ask has been designed to accomodate two adjacent chambers, one for the nebulising solution and
the other for the outowing solution. Nasal adaptors, available in 3 dierent sizes according to the size of
the nasal opening of the subject, are to be applied to the ask.
When should it be used?
Rhino Clear Sprint can be used for:
1. Physiological washing of the nasal cavities (physiological solution or thermal water). Useful for children
to help them with nasal hygiene. In adults it favours physiological washing of the nose and it can be
used before an aerosol therapy of the respiratory tract in order to help the distribution of the medicine.
2. Therapeutic washing: the administration of medicines through Rhino Clear Sprint has to be prescribed
by a doctor or by a pharmacist who will decide the type of medicine, the administration dose and the
treatment duration.
ATTENTION:
The ask, available as an accessory (cod. ACO409P), allows for a complete personalization of the
device for each member of the family. For correct hygiene and in order to avoid the spread of
infection, a personal use of the device is advisable. The average life span of the accessories is
