8.4 Installation with Variofix C
When measuring in reflection arrangement, one transducer mounting fixture is mounted on the side of the pipe (see Fig.
8.29).
When measuring in diagonal arrangement, two transducer mounting fixtures are mounted on the opposite sides of the
pipe (see Fig. 8.30).
In the following, the installation of one transducer mounting fixture is described (transducers in reflection arrangement).
Overview of the mounting steps
• step 1
disassemble the transducer mounting fixture Variofix C
• step 2
mount the tension straps (with or without clasp) and fix the rail to the tension straps with screws
• step 3
insert the transducers into the rail and fix them
• step 4
screw the cover onto the rail
