All maintenance procedures to be carried out on the product require a specific training.
Only personnel correctly trained and authorised to national standards may work on the power
supply. Personnel must also wear personal protective equipment appropriate with the
maintenance operations to perform.
According to this guide, switch off the power to the product depending on the maintenance
operation.
While repairing a circuit breaker installed in a device, the main circuit breaker located in an
equipment room must be disconnected and an Operation board is to be put up to protect the
worker from electric shocks.
Isolate the mains power supply with a cut-out, and press the on/off button to cut out the lower
voltage.
The protective earth conductor of the supply cable must be green and yellow.
Mains power supply cable cross-section: 1.5 to 2.5 mm² (AWG 12).
Depending on the country of installation, the equipment may be connected to a 230 V single-
phase earthing system.
For products installed outside and supplied by the mains power, transient overvoltages may
occur. In compliance with the IEC61643 standard, a surge suppressor compliant with the
IEC61642 standard must be installed on the main circuit breaker to avoid this phenomenon.
Keep your hands away from moving and sharp parts, door hinges and locks, wheels and blades.
Take care not to hurt yourself with the open door or any other projecting parts or parts fixed on
the terminal.
Always wait for a few minutes after turning the TVM off before you start working close to hot
areas of the intermittent heating devices.
Always take care to comply with the polarity of batteries and cells.
Never discard, burn, or open the buffer batteries or cells. Use appropriate disposal procedures as
recommended by the competent health and safety authorities. Comply with the applicable local
regulations while disposing of these items.
There is a risk of explosion if batteries recommended by Flowbird are replaced by other batteries.
Always replace batteries by batteries certified by Flowbird.
