8.8 Replacing the upper part components
8.8.1 Replacing of the solar top
8.8.1.1 Preliminary operations
A. Open the maintenance door
B. Turn off the terminal
8.8.1.2 Replacement
A. Remove the 27 Ah battery
B. Remove the 4 nuts (1).
C. Unplug the solar top and communication cables then remove the solar top (2).
D. Remove the protection of the housing upper part (3).
Replacing the protective housing
8.8.1.3 Installation
A. Repeat the previous steps in reverse.
Check that the hole dedicated to the solar cable and the one dedicated to the
communication antenna are protected with sealing stopgap sets (1 screw, 2 washers and
1 nut).
Reshape the sealing compound cones around the solar top rods before reinstallation.
While tightening, ensure that the housing and the solar top are centered.
8.8.1.4 End of procedure
A. Turn on the terminal
B. Close the maintenance door
