8.4 Replacing the PCBs
8.4.1 Replacing and configurating the main board Neops
The collections and data backups must be performed before any embedded software
updates, main board replacement, Neopsdata replacement or battery replacement.
Due to this procedure, the maintenance operator and the collection operator must operate
together.
If this is not the case, the accounting records of the payments on the terminal, between its
last collection and the maintenance operator intervention, might be wrong.
8.4.1.1 Preliminary operations
A. Perform a coin collection (refer to the procedure detailed in the operation guide).
B. Perform function 64 (card collection).
C. Perform function 57 (SAO transfer) to forward the financial data to the Parkfolio
server.
D. Open the maintenance door
E. Turn off the terminal
8.4.1.2 Replacement
A. Unplug all the cables connected to the main board.
B. Open simultaneously the 2 extraction levers (1) to release the main board (2).
C. Remove the terminal main board by pulling it with care towards the front.
D. Remove the Neopsdata.
E. Disassemble the Modem board
Replacing the main board
8.4.1.3 Installation
A. Repeat the previous steps in reverse.
