Replacing the Battery Pack
Warning
Use only the Fluke BP290 (not recommended
for 190-xx4) or BP291 for replacement!
When no adapter power is supplied, data saved in the test
tool memory is maintained if the battery is replaced within
30 seconds. To avoid loss of data, do one of the following
before removing the battery:
Store the data on a computer or a USB device.
Connect the power adapter.
To replace the battery pack, proceed as follows:
1. Remove all probes and/or test leads
2. Remove the standup or fold it to the test tool
3. Unlock the battery cover (Figure 48)
4. Lift the battery cover and remove it, (Figure 49)
5. Lift one side of the battery and remove it (Figure 50)
6. Install a battery and close the battery cover.
