CONTROL MODULE CALIBRATION
Calibration frequency is dependent upon use, environmental conditions, and
accuracy required. Forma Scientific recommends a three to four month
calibration cycle as a starting point.
Before calibrating or making any adjustments to the
incubator, it is important that all reference instruments are
properly calibrated.
a. Minor CO
2
Calibration
If the incubator’s CO
2
display is within ± 1% of the Fyrite or other CO
2
test
instrument reading and the incubator is stable (operating at least 24 hours,
humidity pan full, no door openings for at least one hour).
Tools needed:
Calibration screwdriver (provided)
Fyrite CO
2
analyzer or other CO
2
measuring device
1. Check the CO
2
concentration in the chamber with the Fyrite or other CO
2
test
instrument until two consecutive readings agree.
