4.8 AFTER USE
Afterusingthemachine,parkitonaatgroundinside
andcleanitthoroughly.
Acleanandwell-maintainedmachinewillalwayswork
atitsmax.capacity.

Routinemaintenance
5.1 GENERAL INFORMATION
Asitwasdesigned,themowerdoesnotneedspecial
maintenance.Anyhow,inordertohavethemachine
workatitsmax.capacityandinordertoconstantly
haveaperfectlyefcientmachine,someprecautions
mustbefollowed.
Weherebelowlist someoperationsofordinary
maintenance.Itisimportanttokeepinmindthat
loweroperatingcostandtheutmostdurability of
themachinedependontheprocedureandconstant
compliancewiththeserules.
Forwhateverproblemorexplanation,contactthearea
dealeroftheManufacturer’stechnicaldepartment.
DANGER
The several maintenance and adjustment opera-
tions shall be performed with the engine shut off
and with the machine well locked on a rm level
ground.
5.2 ENGINE MAINTENANCE
Asfortheenginemaintenance,makereferencetothe
specicengineinstructionsmanual.Approximately,
every8workinghours:checkandtoptheengineoil
levelup,ifnecessary.Check,moreover,theengineair
lterandcleanitifnecessary.Replaceifclogged.
Every50workinghours,replacetheengineoil.
5.3 MACHINE MAINTENANCE
Periodicallywashthemachineandcleanthoroughly
eachpart.Ifahighpressurewashingsystemisused,
checkthatthefueldoesnotgetwetandthatnopart
isdamaged.
Aftereachwashing,itis necessarytolubricateall
partssubjecttofriction.
Periodicallycheckandifnecessaryrestorethegear-
boxoillevel.
Every150workinghours,completelychangetheoil
ofgearbox(onlyuseEP320oil).
Thereplacementmustbedonewhenthemachineis
stillhot,dischargingtheusedoilthroughtheexhaust
hole(2Fig.3)situatedunderthemachine.
Afterdrainingtheoil,putbackthedrainplugandput
in1.3kgofnewoilthroughtheholeintheplug(3
Fig.3).Checktheoillevelafterllingandalsoperi-
odicallybymeansofthescrew(1Fig.3).Thecorrect
levelshouldgrazetheholeofthescrewitself.This
operationmustbecarriedoutwiththemachinein
thehorizontalposition.
5.3.1 ADIUSTMENT OF THE CLUTCH CONTROL
Periodicallycheckthat:
-Inthefreeposition,theclutchcontrollever(7Fig.
1)remainsblockedverticallybythespeciallock-
ingsystem,thatcanbeactuatedbymeansofthe
button(15Fig. 1).If thisdoesnot happen,see
whattheimpedimentisandeliminateit.
 Ifanybreakagesarefoundinthelockingsystem,
repairand/orreplaceit.
-Withtheengine off withtheclutch leverallthe
waydown(7Fig.1)andrestingontheknobof
thehandle,theclutchlever(5Fig.4)shouldbe
touchingthescrewheadofreference(maximum
distance2mm).
 Ifyouexperiencetoomuchdistance,itisneces-
sarytointerveneintheregister(2Fig.4),tore-
ducethedistanceitselfandallowaproperloadon
theclutch.
 Aproperrecordingprovidesadistance,between
theleverandthescrewhead(3Fig.4)between
0.5and2mm,howeveritisbestthatitisaslow
aspossible.
 The screw of checking the correct load on the
clutch (3 Fig. 4), should not be removed. Only
whenreplacingtheclutchmayinterveneonsuch
lives,butthiswillbetheexclusivetaskofqualied
personneloranauthorizedServiceCentre.
5.3.2 ADJUSTMENT OF THE
ACCELERATOR CONTROL
Itisstrictlyforbiddento changethelimitssetby
themanufacturer.Ifitisnecessarytoadjusttheac-
celerator,applytoanauthorizedAfter-SalesService
Center.
5.4 EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
Theoperationsofextraordinarymaintenanceare
notmentioned inthismanual: however,theyshall
beperformedonlybytheManufacturerorbyskilled
personnelauthorizedbytheManufacturerhimself.
