Configuration overview
Language
The phone supports multiple languages.
To change the phone language
1. Go to Setting > General > Language.
2. Select Language.
3. Select language to use and press OK soft key.
Date & time
Setting > General > Date & time allows you to configure the following settings:
Item Description
Date Format Select the desired format to display the date.
Time Format Select between 12 hour or 24 hour time formats.
Mode Select between Manual or NTP.
If Mode is set to NTP, configure the NTP servers:
NTPServer 1 Manually enter the NTP server that will control the date and time.
NTP Server 2 Manually enter a second NTP server to failover to and will control the date and
time.
If Mode is set to Manual, configure the following settings:
DST Enabled Enable or disable daylight savings time for your region.
Time (HHMM) Manually enter the time in HHMM format.
Date (DDMMYY) Manually enter the date in DDMMYY format.
Time zone Manually select the time zone.
Screen
Setting > General > Screen allows you to control the appearance of items on the screen:
Item Description
Font Size The screen section controls the appearance of items on the screen.
Label Truncation Mode Select how truncated labels are displayed on the phone.
Backlight – Active Adjust screen brightness while the phone is active.
Backlight – Inactive Adjust screen brightness while the phone is inactive.
Backlight time Select time to wait until phone is considered to be in an inactive state.
Screensaver timer Select time to wait until screensaver is activated.
