Configuration overview
Disconnecting a Bluetooth headset
1. Go to Setting > Accessory > Bluetooth.
2. Select the connected Bluetooth device.
3. Press the Disconnect soft key.
Programmable key
Setting > Programmable Key allows you to configure the programmable keys that are on both sides of the screen using
the following settings:
Item Description
Programmable Key Select the programmable key to configure.
Type (when using the FortiVoice
phone system)
When your extension is using the FortiVoice phone system (not FortiVoice
Cloud), select the action to take when the key is pressed:
l
None Nothing will happen when the key is pressed.
l
Park Places the call into the first available call park slot.
l
Speed Dial Allows you to quickly place a call to an extension or a phone
number.
l
Call Forward Opens the Call Forward settings to allow you to enable or
disable this function and enter the phone number to forward the calls to.
l
Intercom Activates an intercom call.
l
Record Allows you to record a phone call.
l
Line Shows the status of active calls on the phone.
l
Twinning Enables or disables the function which allows an external phone
to ring along with your office phone, so you can answer the call at either
phone.
l
DTMF When you are on a call and you press the DTMF key, the system
dials the configured DTMF digits.
l
Shared Line Appearance Allows you to perform the following actions for a
shared line included in a group:
l
Monitor calls.
l
Answer a call.
l
Pick up a call that is on hold on another phone.
To configure the following programmable keys, access the FortiVoice user portal
(see the FortiVoice User Portal Guide):
l
Extension appearance - Allows you to monitor the status of the selected
extension (idle, ringing, in use, DND, or on hold) and transfer a call to the
selected extension. The transfer is blind or attended depending on the setting
configured on the FortiVoice phone system.
l
Line appearance - Allows you to monitor the status of a line (available, busy,
or on hold). If the light is flashing, you can press the programmable key to
retrieve the call.
l
Park appearance - Allows you to monitor the selected call park slots,
