Using your phone
If you receive a text message from the FortiVoice phone system while you are on a call, the text message icon
appears on the screen.
To access your text messages
1. Press the Menu soft key
2. In App, select Text Message.
3. Press the Enter soft key.
4. Select the text message to view.
5. Press the Enter soft key.
Voicemail
When a new voicemail is available, the message indicator flashes and the voicemail icon appears on the screen.
To listen to your messages using your phone
1.
Press the button on the phone.
2. Enter your voicemail PIN and press the OK soft key.
3. Use the navigation keys to select the voicemail and press the Play soft key.
To listen to your messages using another extension
1. Press *98. (This is the default code.)
2. When prompted, enter your extension and then press #.
3. When prompted, enter your voicemail PIN and then press #.
4. Follow the prompts to listen to your messages.
To listen to your messages using an external phone (outside of the FortiVoice phone system)
1. Dial your company's phone number.
2. When you hear the Auto Attendant greeting, press *98. (This is the default code.)
3. When prompted, enter your extension and then press #.
4. When prompted, enter your voicemail PIN and then press #.
5. Follow the prompts to listen to your messages.
