Introduction
Programmable keys
FON-x80/x80B series phones with programmable keys can be configured to monitor extensions, lines and parking
orbits.
The total number of supported programmable keys for each phone model is:

FON-280B: 6
l
FON-380/380B: 28
l
FON-480/480B: 45
l
FON-580: 106
To configure programmable keys, go to Setting >Programmable key (see Programmable key on page 24).
The following tables describe how to quickly determine the programmable key status by looking at the color and pattern
of the LED on the programmable key:
Line (account on phone)
LED Description
Solid green Line is idle.
Slow flashing green Line is ringing.
Solid red Line is in use.
Slow flashing red Line is not registered with FortiVoice.
Solid yellow Do Not Disturb is enabled on line.
Slow flashing yellow Line is on hold.
Extension appearance
LED Description
Solid green Extension is idle.
Slow flashing green Extension is ringing.
Solid red Extension is in use.
Solid yellow Do Not Disturb is enabled on extension.
Slow flashing yellow Extension has a call on hold.
