Collecting traceroute information
You can collect traceroute information to identify connectivity issues with your FON-x80 series IP phone. The traceroute
information includes the path that the connection is taking from the local network to the public internet.
1. On your FON-x80 series IPphone, determine its IP address:
a.
Press the Menu soft key or press the button.
b. Use the navigation keys to select Status.
c. On the General tab, take note of the IP address.
2. On your computer, start a web browser and enter:
https://<ip_address>
Where <ip_address> is the IP address of the FON-x80 series IPphone.
3. The web browser displays a Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead, accept the risk by clicking Advanced, and
then clicking Accept the Risk and Continue.

In Name, enter admin.
5.
In Password, enter the enter the administrator password. The default password is 23646.
6.
If you want the portal to remember your login credentials and use them the next time you log in, click Remember
me.
7.
Click Log In.
8.
Click Tool.
9.
Under Traceroute, in IP Address/FQDN, enter the IPaddress or FQDN of the destination.
10. To start the traceroute process, click Start.
11. Please wait.
12. Check the output.
