Introduction
Welcome to the S1 GSM WiFi Security System from For-
tress Security Store! We’ll highlight some of the features of
your new system here. You can browse through the Table
of Contents at the beginning of this user manual to quick-
ly nd answers to any questions you may have about your
system.
Self Monitoring
is security system can be self-monitored through your
existing WiFi and Internet connection, or by using a GSM
SIM card to connect to nearby cellular towers. Over WiFi
you can receive email and push notications. With the SIM
card, the system can alert you via call and/or text.
GSM SIM Card and WiFi
You can connect your S1 main panel to any 2.4GHz WiFi
signal that you have access to. You can also use a GSM SIM
card so the system can place calls over a cellular tower, with
no Internet required. You can also use both, and they will
back each other up in case one connection is interrupted.
If you’re using the system in the US, you can activate the
SIM card that comes with your system! In your box you’ll
nd a SIM card activation code, and instructions for how
to activate.
