Power Supplies
Each FastIron compact switch comes with one alternating-current (AC) or direct-current (DC) power supply,
depending on how it was ordered from the factory. All models have two power supply slots, enabling you to install
a second power supply for redundancy. Direct-current (DC) supplies are available for some devices, in which you
can use any combination of AC and DC supplies in the same device. The following table lists the power supplies
that may be installed in a FastIron compact switch.
Table 2.5 and Table 2.6 show which Foundry power supply can be installed on each Foundry FastIron compact
product.
