1.Makesuretheunithasthepropervoltageandthatitisturnedon.CheckpoweratTerminalsL1andL2.

2.DisconnecttheUserInterface’swireharnessonthecontrolboard.
3.Usingavoltmeter,checktheouterpinsontheuserinterfaceportoftheelctroniccontrolboard.There
shouldbe24VDC.(refertoElectronicControlBoardIdentication,Fig707)
4.Ifthereisnovoltage,replacetheelectroniccontrolboard.
5.If24VDCispresentreplacetheUserInterfaceand/ortheribboncable.
Thermistors Description
TheKUHLunitshave4sensors(Thermistors).Eachthermistoriscolorcodedandhasadifferntfunction.
1.IndoorCoil(Yellow)-locatedontheevaporatorcoilnexttothepowerboard
2.OutdoorCoil(Blue)-locatedonthecondensorcoil.
3.DischargeAir(Black)-locatedonthefrontoftheunitinthedischargeairport.
4.AmbientAir(White)-locatedonthefrontoftheunitinfrontoftheairintake
Thermistor Testing
1.GainaccesstoElectronicControlBoard.
2.LocatethermistorpluganddisconnectfromControlBoard.(refertoControlBoardIdentication,FIg707)
3.Checkforproperresistance.(refertoThermistorResistancevalues,Fig707)
4.Ifthermistorisoutoftolerance,replacethermistor.
