Charging the battery
CAUTION! Risk of damage when attempting to charge a faulty battery. Before
charging, ensure that the battery to be charged is fully functional.
Start charging
3. Connect (+) charger lead to positive pole on battery or plug in charging plug
4. Connect (-) charger lead to negative pole on battery or plug in charging plug
5. Charger detects that the battery is connected and starts charging following the set
delay time
2. Nominal values and the firmware version appear on the display for 5 seconds. The
charger then switches to standby mode.

3. When the battery is fully charged, the charger begins conservation charging.
- Display shows 5 bars
- All bars are displayed
- The battery is 100 % charged
- Battery is always ready to use
- Battery can remain connected to charger for as long
as required
- Conservation charging counteracts battery self-
discharge
1. During charging, the number of bars indicates how charging is progressing.
2. Final charging stage - once the battery is approx. 80-85 % charged
