Make sure that the machine is not operating, and open the finisher front cover.

Grasp the handle as shown in the illustration to pull out the staple cartridge to the right,
towards you.

Move up the staple cartridge, and then take it out of the machine.
4
After you take out the staple cartridge, check inside of the finisher for any remaining
staples.
