Operation
In switch position "0" (ECO), gree n standb y mode is activated, in which the monitor
consum es ≤ 0.1 W. If the monitor cann ot be switched on and remains da rk, the switch
must be set to "-" (BASIC). The monitor t hen consumes < 1 W in standby mode.
► Switch the device on u sing the ON/OFF switch.
Only switch on the computer after y ou have switched on the monitor.
Notes o n power management
If your computer is equipped with power management (power-saving m ode), the monitor c an fully
support this function. Here the monitor does not disting uish between the individual energy-saving
modes of the computer (standby mode, suspend mode and OFF mode), as it is capable of
immediately switching into the mode with the highest energy-saving effect.

inactivity (no input), it sends an approp riate signal to the monitor to reduce

Once an input is made at t
he computer the screen contents are restored.
