Removing the cover
► Switch off your notebook and disconnect the power plug from the mains socket.
► Disconnect all cables connected to the notebook.
► Close the LC D screen.
► Turn your notebook over and place it on a firm, flat and clean surface. If necessary, lay
a non-slip cloth on this surface to prevent the noteb ook from being scratched.
► Rem ove the battery (see "
Removing the battery", Pa ge 16).

► Remove the screws (1).
► Lift the cover off the notebook in the
direction of the arrow (2).
Hard disk removing
► Remove the cover (see Chapter "R emoving the cover", Page 24).

► Remove the screws (1).
► Slide the hard disk in a straight
line (2) to the left.
► Remove the hard disk (3) from the
hard disk compartment.
