Cleaning the notebook
Do not clean an y interior parts yourself; leave this job to a se rvice technician.
Only use cleaning p rod ucts designed for computers. Normal ho u se hold
cleaners and polishes can d amage the markings on the keyboard an d the
device, the paintwork or th e no tebook itself.
Ensure that no liquid enters the n otebook.
The LCD screen very sensitive to scratche s. Only clean the display
surface with a very soft, slightly damp cloth.

► In order to prevent accidentially switching the device on, remo ve the power cable from the mains
adaptor and remove the battery (see "
Removing and installing the bat tery", Page 31).
The surface can be cleaned with a dry cloth. If particularly dirty, use a cloth which has
been moistened in mild domestic detergent and then care fully wrung out.
To clean the keyboard and the touchpad, if available, you ca n use disinfectant wipes.
Ensure that no liquid enters the d evice.
