Smart Cards are not su pplied as s tandard equipment. You can use all Smart Cards that comply with
the ISO standard 78 16-1, -2 or -3. These Smart Car ds are available from various manufacturers.
With the appropriate software you can use your Smart Card as an a lternative to password
protection, but also as a digital signature, for encrypting your e-mails or for home banking.
We recommend that you always use two Smart Cards. Always keep one of the Smart Cards
in a safe place if you are carrying the o ther Smart Card with you.
Inserting the Smart Car

Do not use force when inserting and removing the Smart Card.
Make sure that foreign objects do not fall into the Smart Card reader.
