When
the
control
domain
is
running
on
Oracle
Solaris
10
with
Oracle
VM
Server
for
SPARC
version
3.1.0.1
or
older,
if
the
physical
partition
dynamic
reconfiguration
(PPAR
DR)
feature
is
enabled,
the
ldoms/ldmd
service
fails
to
start
and
Oracle
VM
for
SPARC
does
not
work.
The
PPAR
DR
feature
is
enabled
at
the
time
of
shipment.
Therefore,
either
disable
the
PPAR
DR
feature
before
setting
up
logical
domains,
or,
update
Oracle
VM
Server
for
SPARC
to
version
3.1.0.1
or
later.
Configuration
of
the
PPAR
DR
feature
is
performed
with
the
setpparmode(8)
command
of
XSCF
firmware.

To
update

apply
patch
