Closing "ScanSnap Manager"
Operation
Right-click "ScanSnap Manager" icon on the task tray, and select "Exit" from the menu.
Disconnecting the scanner
Operation
1. Close the paper chute cover to turn off the scanner.
⇒ The "ScanSnap Manager" icon in the task tray changes from the "activated" symbol to
the "deactivated" one.
2. Disconnect the USB cable from your PC.
3. Disconnect the AC cable from the power outlet.
HINT
"ScanSnap Manager" is necessary for operation ScanSnap. When you start up
"ScanSnap Manager", select [All Programs] - [ScanSnap Manager] - [Scan-
Snap Manager].
(*Generally, "ScanSnap Manager" does not need to be ended.)
HINT
The power of the scanner is controled by turning on/off of the PC or opening/
closing of the paper chute cover. In general you do not have to turn on/off the
scanner when it is connected to your PC.
