5.3 Regulating the rebate clearance
The factory setting of SECUREconnect F regarding the rebate clearance
is - mm. For increasing this value to - mm, it is possible to pull out
the restricting brackets on the side of the tappet contacts using a small
screwdriver. In doing so, the adhesive label "Hubverstellung der Kontakte"
(adjustment of contact travel) must be removed carefully and re-attached
afterwards. The tappet contacts now protrude mm from the device.
Do not reinsert the restriction brackets with the rebate clearance set
to - mm !
If you wish to limit SECUREconnect F to a rebate clearance of mm
again, press back the tappet contacts until stop and reinsert the restricting
brackets.
Do not adjust to - mm rebate clearance if the
clearance is smaller than mm. This would increase
the strain on the contacts and reduce the service
life of the device.
ATTENTION
Reattach the adhesive label for protection !
