14. Bar - code scanner
Bar-code reader / scanner must be adapted for use at checkout
GALEB GP-100, to be

codes are related to

standards of each country, and on what that
should be addressed are the following
settings:
BAUD Rate - 9600 8N1; Disable RTS/CTS Handshaking;
Transmit EAN 13 Check Digits;
Convert EAN-8 to EAN-13.
Bar code reader still works with fixed rate of
9600bps.
15.
IMPORTANT POINT TO BE ADDED
1. The fiscal device must not operate any transaction while the SIM card is
not insert
2. Note: In the event that a GPRS modem fails to send Z reports for 8
consecutive days, a warning message should be printed before and after
the printing of each Z report.
Example
“Warning from ERCA the fiscal data does not transfer to server Please
contact to technique center”
3. In case the mashine does not successfully send data for 20 days after
trying to connect to server and failed, the fiscal maschine should be
blocked making any operation. And resume to continue operation after
successfuly upload the fiscla data to the server.
4. The fiscal device should blocked any operation and create beep sound
while receipt “END” command issued by ERCA throught the GPRS
terminal.
