SYSTEM MESSAGES
•Antenna Shorted to Ground—the external GPS antenna has an electrical
connection problem. Contact Garmin Product Support.
•ApproachingTargetAltitude—within1,000feetofnalVNAVtargetaltitude.
•ApproachingVNAV Prole—the aircraft is within one minute of reaching the
initial VNAV decent point.
•ArrivingatXXX—theaircraftisnearingthedestination.
•BatteryLow—thebatteryneedstoberecharged.
•Can’tUnlockMaps—noapplicableunlockcodeforoneormoremapswasfound.
All MapSource maps are not accessible.
•Check XMAntenna—internal problem with your GXM 40 antenna. Contact
Garmin Product Support.
•DatabaseError—internalproblemwiththeunit.ContactyourdealerorGarmin
Product Support to have the unit repaired.
•FuelTank—areminderforswitchingfueltanks.Theremindermessagerepeatsat
the specified interval after the beginning of each trip.
