UNDERWATER OPERATION
The AT Pro can be immersed in water to a 3-meter depth
(maximum) to search in and along shorelines, rivers, piers,
docks or swimming holes. Use of the AT Pro at depths
exceeding 3 meters can cause leaks and damage the
detector. Use of the AT Pro beyond the recommended depth
will void the manufacturer's warranty. For use in saltwater,
see tips on pages 41–42.
The AT Pro is shipped with standard land-use headphones.
These can be used for searching along waterways, but may
not be submerged. For submersion, optional waterproof
headphones (available from Garrett) must be used.
Waterproof headphones (sold separately) must be used if the AT Pro is fully
immersed in water. The standard land-use headphones included with the
detector are not waterproof.
