Down = Set card for use in a terminal or ISDN multiplexer or to communicate via the DI-
A port in a drop and insert multiplexer
Up = Set card to communicate via the DI-B port in a drop and insert multiplexer
Down = Set card for use in a 2MB multiplexer set for CAS signaling (skips time slot 16)
Up = Leaves time slot 16 available
Down = Set card for remote operation using ISiCL or IntraGuide™ software
Up = Set card for local operation
Down = Take card out of service
Up = Place card in service
3.3 Card Address Setting: SW10
For the IntraGuide™ software to recognize a PTR-255, it must first be assigned a card
address. The card address can be any number from 1 to 36 (from 1 to 4 in an ISDN multiplexer)
that is not in use by another card in the same multiplexer. In a standard 3RU shelf, the address for
each card is generally set to the physical slot number the card occupies. The card address is
determined by the SCB ADDRESS switch bank settings (SW10), as shown in Table 3-6.
