ISiCL Configuration and Status Codes
for the PTR-255
Underlying the IntraGuide™ remote control software for the PTR-255 is an ASCII-based control
language called ISiCL, the Intraplex Simple Command Language. The multiplexer operating
manual provides details on using ISiCL to control the multiplexer and channel cards. This
appendix provides a list of the configuration (P) and status (S) codes specific to the PTR-255.
The PTR-255 reports itself as a TYPE 129 card.
A.1 P Codes
P codes, when used in the parameter field of an ISiCL SET command, allow the user to set
parameters on the module via remote control. P codes also appear in the response to a CONFIG?
query, providing a list of the current parameter settings on the card.
There are ten P codes for the PTR-255 and each P code controls several parameters, as described
in Table A-1.
In addition to the P codes, it is also possible to turn service on or off for the card by sending
SRVC = ON or SRVC = OFF in the parameter field of a SET command.
