The AIP-12X is a 19” rack mountable panel, one rack unit high, with connectors for two PTR-
255 modules. It is designed to be mounted on the rear rack rails directly behind the multiplexer,
to save space. Alternatively, it can be mounted in the front of the rack above or below the
multiplexer to provide front access to the connectors. Six foot (two meter) cables to connect the
AIP-12X to the MA-555 or MA-556 are included with the panel, to accommodate a variety of
mounting options.
Figure 5-4 illustrates the connector layout on the AIP-12X.
