Usage Features:

The SW400DC offers a range of features to enhance usability and control:

  • Travel Setting: A crucial initial setup step where the installer defines open and closed limit switch positions. This involves a sequence of automatic gate movements (closing, opening, then closing again) to calibrate the travel.
  • Trimmer Settings:
    • Obstacle Sensibility Trimmer (FORCE): Adjusts the gate's sensitivity to obstacles. Clockwise increases sensitivity, counter-clockwise reduces it. This can be fine-tuned based on environmental factors like heavy winds.
    • Slow Speed Distance Trimmer (SLOW DOWN): Controls the distance over which the gate operates at a slower speed. Clockwise increases this distance, counter-clockwise decreases it.
    • Gate Moving Speed Trimmer (SPEED): Adjusts the overall opening and closing speed of the gate. Clockwise accelerates, counter-clockwise slows down. This adjustment must be completed before travel setting.
  • Remote Control Learning: The system supports learning up to 20 remote controls. A simple process involving pressing the "+" button on the control board and then the desired button on the remote. Default mode for new remotes is two swing gates single channel.
  • Remote Control Deletion: Individual or all paired remote controls can be deleted through the digital screen menu.
  • Control Board Settings (Base Menu):
    • Working Mode (NE): Offers Standard (Open/Close/Stop), Automatic Closing, and Community modes.
      • Standard Mode: Basic open, close, stop functionality.
      • Automatic Closing Mode: Gate automatically closes after a set time. Sending a "close" command during the waiting time cancels automatic closing.
      • Community Mode: Gate commands are not responded to until it closes automatically. Sending a command during closing reopens the gate. If the gate fails to close completely three times consecutively, automatic closing is canceled, and the gate must be closed by re-sending the command. Automatic closing still functions when meeting obstacles.
    • Single Gate/Dual Gates Switch (SP): Configures the system for single or dual gate operation.
    • Open Gate Time Interval (OH): Sets the delay between the opening of two gates in a dual gate setup (0-15 seconds, default 3 seconds). If less than 2 seconds, the electric lock cannot be used.
    • Automatic Closing Time (CH): Sets the delay before automatic closing (default 15 seconds, options for 30, 60, 90 seconds).
    • Remote Control Mode (AE): Allows selection of dual gates single channel, four channel, or single gate single channel modes for remote controls, and also provides the option to delete remotes.
  • Control Board Settings (Advanced Menu):
    • Travel Time Adjustment (TL): Allows manual adjustment of gate 1 and gate 2 travel times, particularly for deceleration distance, if automatic learning is not ideal.
    • Photo Sensor (PH): Configures the photo sensor as normally open (N/O) or normally closed (N/C). Default is N/C.
    • Electric Lock (EL): Sets the electric lock to normally on or normally off. Default is normally on.
    • Alarm Lamp (PA): Configures the alarm lamp to be normally on or to flash, and specifies 24V power supply. Default is normally on with 24V power.
    • Low Consumption Mode (LC): Enables or disables low power consumption mode. When enabled, the control board enters low-consumption mode after one minute of inactivity on the initial screen. Default is on.
    • Limit Switch Mode (LP): Selects between "Stop block" (default) and "Hall sensor" for limit switch detection.
    • Gate Opener Selection (Nd): Allows selection of the specific gate opener model (SW400DC, SW300DC, SW200DC). Default is SW400DC.
    • Factory Default Setting (FP): Provides options to cancel or complete a factory default reset.
