3-2 Setup reminders
3-2-1 Average setup time
• Unpacking the LOGIQ V3/V5/V5 Expert: 30 minutes
• Set up LOGIQ V3/V5/V5 Expert options: 30 minutes
• DICOM Network Configuration: 30 minutes or more,
depending on the configuration
• Install Insite: 0.5 hour
The LOGIQ V3/V5/V5 Expert installation and functional
checkout will take approximately 1 hour. LOGIQ V3/V5/V5
Expert consoles with optional equipment may take slightly
longer.
3-2-2 Setup warnings
WHEN USING ANY TEST INSTRUMENT THAT IS CAPABLE
OF OPENING THE AC GROUND LINE (I.E., METER’S
GROUND SWITCH IS OPEN), DON’T TOUCH THE
ULTRASOUND SYSTEM!
To prevent electrical shock, connect the unit to a properly
grounded power outlet. DO NOT use a three to two prong
adapter. This defeats safety grounding.
DO NOT wear the ESD wrist strap when you work on live
circuits and more than 30 V peak is present.
DO NOT operate this unit unless all board covers and frame
panels are securely in place. System performance and cooling
require this.
