Prior to establishing electrical connections check the maximum permissible oper-
ating voltage.

Observe the installation and operating regulations for use in potentially explosive
areas.
Carry out the following steps:
Establish the electrical connections on the valve.

The proximity switches are factory set. During transport and installation it can happen
that the settings are changed, so that readjustment may be required, see “Setting the
Proximity Switches“ (Page 36).
