2. To place the lift arm in the detent (“float”) position, use your toes to push the left pedal all
the way down (A) into the detent. This position allows the lowered lift arm to “float” while
traveling over changing ground conditions.
3. To remove lift arm from the detent (“float”) position, use your heel to push the left pedal
down (B) out of the detent position. This returns the lift arm to normal operation.
