Einführung / Introduction
Geiger Engineering bietet zwei verschiedene Akkumulatortypen an: / Geiger Engineering offers two different
battery types:
Hochstromtypen und Hochkapazitätstypen. / High current types and high capacity types.
Die Unterschiede entnehmen Sie bitte den Technischen Daten. / The differences are presented in the
technical data.
Die Akkupacks sind aus vielen einzelnen parallel und seriell verschalteten Stahlbecherzellen auf Li-Ionen
Basis aufgebaut. / The battery packs are made up of many individual parallel and serial connected lithium-
ion cells.
Die Kapazität des Akkupacks ergibt sich aus der Summe der parallelen Einzelzellen. / The capacity of the
battery pack results from the sum of the single cells connected in parallel.
Beide Zellentypen sind in der Industrie, Automotive- und Werkzeugbranche verbreitet und erprobt. Es handelt
sich um die Produkte der jeweiligen Marktführer, die sich vor allem durch eine hohe, gleichbleibende Qualität
auszeichnen. / Both cell types are widely used and tested in general manufacturing, automotive and tooling
industries. The employed products are made by the respective market leaders, which are characterized above
all by a high, consistent level of quality.
Aufgrund der hohen Anzahl der parallel geschalteten Becherzellen, die mit extrem hoher Gleichmäßigkeit in
Massenproduktion hergestellt werden, kommt es zu keiner nennenswerten Spannungsdrift. / Due to the large
number of cells connected in parallel, which are manufactured with a high degree of regularity in mass
production, there is no significant voltage drift.
Diese Verschaltung hat außerdem den Effekt einer Verfügbarkeitssteigerung gegenüber einer reinen seriellen
Verschaltung von Hochkapazitätsplattenzellen. / This connection also has the effect of an increase in
availability over a pure serial connection of high-capacity plate cells.
Die Akkupacks sind anschlussfertig mit Steckverbindern ausgerüstet und verwechslungssicher ausgeführt. /
The battery packs are ready to be connected to connectors and designed in such a manner that they cannot
be confused.
Die Akkupacks haben ein Batteriemanagementsystem kurz BMS integriert. Damit wird eine hohe
Leistungsfähigkeit, Sicherheit und Verfügbarkeit im Betrieb erreicht. / The battery packs have an integrated
BMS or battery management system. This achieves a high degree of performance, safety and availability
during operation.
Die Akkupacks sind nach UN/DOT 38.3 geprüft. / The battery packs are tested in accordance with UN/DOT
38.3.
