Section 4 Ventilation System
4.1 — General
Adequate and unobstructed flow of cooling and ventilating air is critical to prevent buildup of explosive gases and to
ensure safe generator operation. Do not alter the installation or permit even partial blockage of ventilation provisions.
Keep area around the generator clean and uncluttered, and remove any materials that may pose a hazard.
4.2 — Outdoor Installation Only
The unit is for outdoor installation only. The installation design must ensure that there are no obstructions at any of the
air intakes that may impede intake airflow.
