(3c) Joystick
The joystick allows the operator to move the cutter head and beam. To
use the joystick:
1) Check the display screen on the beam control panel keypad to verify
the system is in online mode.
2) Press the Up Arrow key or Down Arrow key to enter local mode.
3) Check the display screen to verify the system is in local mode.
4) Press the Enter key.
5) To move the cutter head and beam: Move the joystick in the desired
direction.
(4) Control Desk
The control desk is typically located next to the cutter. It is not Gerber-
supplied. The control desk typically holds the control box and computer
to run the cutter.
(4a) Control Box
The control box is a separate component that operates the cutter. It is
usually placed next to the monitor on the control desk.
