Getting Your Device Ready for Use
Installing the SIM Card (Select Models Only)
1. Loosen the screw and flip open the cover.
2. With the SIM card’s chip side facing back and the beveled corner pointing
to the slot, insert the card all the way into the slot.
NOTE: To remove the SIM card, slightly push in the card to release it and then
pull the card out of the slot.
3. Close the cover and tighten the screw.
4. If you insert a SIM card when the device power is off, the device will
detect it and configure the matching firmware when you next start up
the device.
If you insert a SIM card when the device power is on, the device will
detect it and configure the matching firmware. Wait till the process is
completed. Never turn off or restart the device during the process.
