Using the directory

Configuring the scope of the number information in the lists
A directory entry exists for a phone number that has been transferred: Determine
whether the list should display the selected phone number as well as the name and
number type.
¤ In the Settings menu (¢ page 24),
select [ gDisplay and Keypad].
¤ Touch
the next to Number Info in Dial Lists.
¤ Select Number Type Only (phone
number in the detail view only) or Type
and Number.
Using the directory
You can create the directory (with up to 500 entries) individually for your handset.
You can also send lists/entries to other handsets (
¢ page 48).
You can save up to eight numbers, together with the associated first name and sur-
name, birthdays/anniversaries with signalling, VIP ringtone, caller picture in each
directory entry.

¤ In the Applications menu, touch [ œ Contacts] or touch [ œ Contacts] on
the dial page or during a cal.

To quickly access a number from the directory, you can place the number on the
configurable page in the idle display (
