4.6 TCG Menu (Time Corrected Gain)
This menu is used to construct the gain/time correction curves (TCG), i.e. the gain compensation curve based
on the ultrasonic path. The result is that the discontinuities with the same equivalent dimension but placed at
different distances in the specimen provided responses with equal amplitude. These curves are constructed
using a series of reference echoes.
N.B.: This function is only included in the RDG700 and RDG800 instruments.
