Left-hand Shields
FIG. 37: To open shields:
1. Position unloader tube in the out position.
2. Unlatch lower swing-up shield (1) and raise the shield
up fully.
3. Unlatch upper swing-up shield (3) and swing the
shield up.
NOTE: The lower swing-up shield (1) can be opened or
closed with the unloader tube in the out or in the
stored position.
NOTE: The upper swing-up shield (3) can be opened or
closed only with the bin unloader tube in the out
position and the lower swing-up shield fully open.
NOTE: Top swing-down shield (2) can only be opened
when the unloader tube is in the out position.

CAUTION: The top swing-down shield is
not equipped with a gas spring and must be
lowered slowly and carefully to prevent
injury or damage to shield.
FIG. 38: To close shields:
1. Close upper top swing-down shield (1) and latch in
place.
2. Close the upper swing up shield (2) and latch in
place.
3. Close down lower swing-up shield (3) and latch in
place.
NOTE: Moving the bin unloader tube from the OUT
position to the STORED position with the shields
open will result in damage to the shields and/or to
the bin unloader tube.
