Right-Hand Shields
FIG. 39: To open shields:
1. Unhook swing-down shield/step (1) and swing shield
down.
2. Open swing-up shield (2) at the front of the shield.
Pull down on release handle and raise the shield.
NOTE: Only raise or lower swing-down shield/step with
the swing-up shield in closed and latched
position.
FIG. 40: To close shields:
1. Using the handle provided, close and latch the
swing-up shield (2).
IMPORTANT: Do not pull on gas spring to close the
shield.
2. Swing up the swing-down step/shield (1) and hook
the shield in place.
BACKUP ALARM
FIG. 41: The combine is factory equipped with a backup
alarm (1) that activates when the control handle is moved
into reverse and the back up lights engage.
The backup alarm is located forward of the batteries next
to the battery jumper post.
