ENGINE COMPARTMENT
Standard Ladder
FIG. 101: To open shields, use the handle (1) and open
the swing-down shield/steps (2) and swing the shield
down.
FIG. 102: Release step extension (1) by holding the
left-hand ladder extension frame between the first and
second step, pressing the release latch (2) and slowly
lowering ladder extension.
FIG. 103: Climb the steps and using the handle (1) open
and raise the engine cover (2).
To close shields, reverse the procedure.
NOTE: Adjustment is provided on swing-up shield,
where the shield interlocks with swing-down
shield/steps.
NOTE: To close shield use handle provided. Do Not pull
on gas cylinder.

WARNING: BE AWARE that the surfaces in
and around the engine compartment will be
hot if the combine has been operating in the
field for a long period of time.
