DESCRIPTION OF UNIVERSAL OPERATION (APB)
The universal operation phases are described below.
1. The user presses the call button at the floor to call the lift.
Note: the call is only made if the lift is in “free” status.
2. The lift switches to “in use” status and does not store any other calls received.
3. When the lift reaches the floor, the user must open the doors manually (or wait for the automatic or
automated doors to open) to enter the car.
4. The user must press the button on the car push-button panel for the desired destination floor.
5. The doors close and the car moves to the required floor.
6. When the car reaches the floor, the user must open the doors manually (or wait for the automatic or
automated doors to open) to exit onto the landing.
7. If no other passenger is in the car or presses a button on the landing, the doors close and the lift returns to
“free” status.
