DESCRIPTION OF COLLECTIVE UP AND DOWN OPERATION
The collective ascent and descent operation phases are described below.
1. The user presses the call button on the landing to call the lift, whether it is in the “free” or “in use” status.
2. The electrical cabinet is designed to store and fulfil all calls accepted from the landing while the lift is
moving.
3. Pressing the
button calls the lift to go to a higher floor.
4. The lift executes the call made and if it is moving towards the top floor, it answers any
calls made from the
intermediate floors.
5. Pressing the
button calls the lift to go to a lower floor.
6. The lift executes the call made and if it is moving towards the bottom floor, it answers any
calls made
from the intermediate floors.
7. When the lift arrives at the floor from which a call was made, if the load limit has not been reached, the
doors automatically open to allow entry into the car.
8. The lift remains available for passengers to press the button on the car push-button panel for the desired
destination floor.
9. The doors close and the car departs, in the same direction as before, towards the nearest destination floor or
nearest floor from where a call was accepted.
10. If the desired destination floor is in the opposite direction to the direction of travel, the lift will reach the
main or top/bottom floor and then fulfil the request.
11. When the lift reaches the required floor, the doors automatically open to allow passengers to exit the car.
